The Eldorado Eagles (Eldorado, TX) basketball nipped the host Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX), 54-52 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Reagan County (Big Lake, TX). The Owls go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Reagan County got by Odessa (Odessa, TX), 37-33, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stanton for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 7. Sands will clash with a Buffaloes squad coming off a 70-44 non-league loss to Wall (Wall, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-1.
