The Howe Bulldogs tipped the host Gunter Tigers basketball team by a final score of 58-54 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Pottsboro Cardinals (Pottsboro, TX) in a 2A Region II District 11 game, on Tuesday, February 1. Howe will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record.

With the defeat, Gunter moves to 6-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX) to face the Cats in a 2A Region II District 11 game on Monday, January 31. The Cats enter the game with a record of 1-8. Tom Bean lost 57-39 in their recent league game against Bells (Bells, TX)
