The Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) basketball nipped the host Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX), 64-58 in Friday's league test.

The Pirates (14-9) will now prepare for their test against West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bears go into the 3A Region IV District 31 test with a 26-5 record. In their last test, West Oso got by Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX), 70-45, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 3-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robstown for a 3A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, February 17. Ingleside will clash with a Cottonpickers squad coming off a 76-52 league win over Falfurrias (Falfurrias, TX). The Cottonpickers record now stands at 15-13.
