The Spring Lions (Spring, TX) basketball knocked off the host Klein Oak Panthers (Spring, TX), 60-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region II District 14 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Aldine notched a victory over Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX), 55-46, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Tomball for a 6A Region II District 15 test on Saturday, January 2. Klein Oak will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 60-52 league loss to Klein Collins (Spring, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 7-3.
