The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Navarro Panthers (Geronimo, TX) and the host Cuero Gobblers (Cuero, TX), saw Navarro's softball squad nip Cuero by a count of 3-2.

The Panthers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league match on Thursday, March 3.

With the loss, Cuero falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Gobblers travel to Edna (Edna, TX) to face the Cowboys in a non-league match on Friday, March 4. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 3-7. Edna won 7-3 in their recent non-league match against Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX)
