Texas High School Softball - Sam Rayburn bounces Howe
Sam Rayburn Rebels (Ivanhoe, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Callisburg for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. Sam Rayburn will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Lindsay (Lindsay, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Howe falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Gunter (Gunter, TX) to face the Tigers in a 2A Region II District 11 challenge on Tuesday, March 15. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 14-1.
