In Friday's league battle, the host Spring Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the MacArthur Generals.
The Lions (18-11) will now prepare for their battle against Westfield (Houston, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region II District 16 battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Westfield lost by Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Generals clash with the Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 battle, on Tuesday, October 2. MacArthur will attempt to advance on its 15-14 season record.
