Dugway Mustangs (Dugway, UT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Telos (Orem, UT), 70-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dugway upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Wendover (Wendover, UT) to play the Wildcats in a 1A Region 18 bout on Wednesday, February 12. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Wendover won 105-70 in their recent league bout against Telos (Orem, UT)

Next up, the play the West Desert Hawks (Trout Creek, UT) in a 1A Region 18 bout, on Wednesday, February 12. Telos will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 71-41 league loss to Tintic (Eureka, UT).
