The Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) basketball nipped the host Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA), 66-63 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wildcats (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 0-17 record. In their last test, Patrick County was tipped by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 75-66, in a league test.

The Cavaliers now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Gretna for a Dogwood test on Friday, February 18. Chatham will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 62-24 league loss to Altavista Combined School (Altavista, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-19.
