Seneca Indians (Seneca, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Kickapoo Panthers (Viola, WI), 39-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Seneca upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Wauzeka-Steuben (Wauzeka, WI) to clash with the Hornets in a Ridge & Valley bout on Saturday, February 9. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Wauzeka-Steuben won 99-60 in their recent league bout against Ithaca (Richland Center, WI)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Hillsboro Tigers (Hillsboro, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 11. Kickapoo will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 53-45 league win over Necedah (Necedah, WI).
