The Winfield Generals basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Wayne Pioneers to 43 in the Generals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Generals now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sissonville for a Cardinal contest on Friday, December 22. Winfield will battle a Indians team coming off a 85-80 league win over Scott (Madison, WV). The Indians record now stands at 2-2.

The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hannan (Ashton, WV). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Hannan triumphed over Elk Valley Christian (Elkview, WV), 88-36, in a non-league contest.
