Southeast Cyclones (Yoder, WY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Pine Bluffs Hornets (Pine Bluffs, WY), 49-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Southeast upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Cyclones host Lingle-Fort Laramie (Lingle, WY) to play the Doggers in a 2A South East bout on Saturday, February 21. The Doggers go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Lingle-Fort Laramie won 66-47 in their recent league bout against Guernsey-Sunrise (Guernsey, WY)

Next up, the Hornets play the Burns Broncs (Burns, WY) in a 2A South East bout, on Saturday, February 21. Pine Bluffs will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Broncs go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to Moorcroft (Moorcroft, WY).
