Maleek Sanders has been named player of the year. "Four year Letterman point guard Meleek Sanders led the Bucs to their first regional Tournament since 2013. Sanders set the tone on defensive all year guarding the other team top scorer each game, and applying pressure at the top of the Bucs press defense. Like a true point guard he led the team in assists and shot a career best 51% FG. Sanders playing days will continue beyond high school but on the football field, as he will be playing Football at Tyler Junior College next year. "
