Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lampeter-Strasburg overwhelms Pequea Valley
January 29, 2011: Lampeter, PA 17537 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA) and the visiting Pequea Valley Braves (Kinzers, PA), saw Lampeter-Strasburg's basketball squad trounce Pequea Valley by a score of 63-37.
With the victory, Lampeter-Strasburg improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Manheim Central (Manheim, PA) to battle the Barons in a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 challenge on Monday, January 31. The Barons come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Manheim Central won 55-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Palmyra (Palmyra, PA)
Next up, the Braves battle the Lebanon Catholic Beavers (Lebanon, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Pequea Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 77-55 league loss to Columbia (Columbia, PA).
