Wisconsin High School Basketball - McDonell Central can't hold off Prescott
December 3, 2016: Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 The Prescott Cardinals basketball team scored 53 points and held the host McDonell Central Macks to 52 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amery for a Middle Border contest on Friday, December 9. Prescott will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Barron (Barron, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
The Macks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Thorp (Thorp, WI). The Cardinals enter the Cloverbelt - West contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Thorp tipped Elmwood/Plum City (Elmwood, WI), 51-35, in a non-league match.
