Texas High School Basketball - Randall nudges Perryton
January 2, 2010: Perryton, TX 79070 Randall Raiders (Amarillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX), 57-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Randall upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Raiders travel to Hereford (Hereford, TX) to encounter the Whitefaces in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 5. The Whitefaces go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Hereford won 45-33 in their recent non-league bout against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX)
Next up, the Rangers encounter the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) in a 3A Region I District 1 bout, on Friday, January 15. Perryton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
