With the triumph, Covington Catholic improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Colonels host Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY) to confront the Thoroughbreds in a non-league test on Saturday, September 26. The Thoroughbreds come into the test with a record of 1-4. Newport Central Catholic lost 21-17 in their recent non-league test against Campbell County (Alexandria, KY)
With the loss, Beechwood drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Dayton (Dayton, KY) to confront the Greendevils in a 1A District 3 test on Friday, September 25. The Greendevils come into the test with a record of 0-4. Dayton lost 56-6 in their recent non-league test against Newport (Newport, KY)
