October 29, 2005: Fairfield, CT 06825 In Saturday's non-league game, the host Notre Dame Catholic Lancers football team scored a good 48-30 win over the Bunnell Bulldogs.
With the win, Notre Dame Catholic improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Stratford (Stratford, CT) to meet the Red Devils in a SWC Colonial game on Friday, November 4. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 3-4. Stratford lost 31-14 in their recent league game against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT)
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats enter the SWC Patriot game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, Brookfield notched a victory over Weston (Brookfield, CT), 42-14, in a league game.
