Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), 51-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Langham Creek upgrades its record to 7-15 on the season. The Lobos travel to Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX) to play the Spartans in a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, January 19. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Cypress Lakes won 77-54 in their recent league bout against Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 bout, on Tuesday, January 19. Cypress Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 69-67 league win over Cypress Falls (Houston, TX).
