New York High School Baseball - Elmira Free Academy loses to Sutherland
April 21, 2010: Elmira, NY 14905 The Elmira Free Academy Blue Devils baseball team (Elmira, NY), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Sutherland Knights (Pittsford, NY)
The Knights now hold a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liverpool for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 22. Sutherland will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Sutherland (Pittsford, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Binghamton Patriots (Binghamton, NY) in a Section 4 Southern Tier outing, on Wednesday, April 28. Elmira Free Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 4-1 record after their 10-4 league win over Johnson City (Johnson City, NY).

Matt Hallowell threw 6 innings of one run ball for his second win of the season as the Knights defeated the Elmira Free Academy Blue Devils 7-2 in Myrtle Beach.
