Creekview strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 59-7 victory over the Adams Cougars. With the Mustangs ahead 45-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Creekview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cason Garcia out in front who threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 74 yards on only seven carries. Brendyn Shed also helped with two scores in total.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Creekview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 306 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Adams only rushed for 107.
