The Adams Cougars football squad (Dallas, TX), was trounced 59-7 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX)

The Mustangs (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Wranglers enter the 5A-1 Region II District 6 contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, West Mesquite crushed Adams (Dallas, TX), 70-3, in a league contest.

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 bout, on Thursday, October 23. Adams will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 52-0 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX).
