The West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) football trounced the host Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), 53-21 in Thursday's league outing.

The Wranglers now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Newman Smith for a 5A-1 Region II District 6 outing on Friday, October 31. West Mesquite will battle a Trojans team coming off a 50-7 league win over Adams (Dallas, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 6-2.

The Mustangs (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans enter the 5A-1 Region II District 6 game with a 6-2 record.
