Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) and the visiting Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX), witnessed Creekview's football squad knock off Turner by a tally of 35-6.

The Mustangs (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Adams (Dallas, TX). The Cougars enter the 5A-1 Region II District 6 contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Adams was outscored by West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX), 70-3, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions battle the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 contest, on Friday, October 17. Turner will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 61-14 league win over White (Dallas, TX).
