The Turner Lions tipped the host Adams Cougars football squad by a margin of 30-28 in Thursday's league test.

The Lions now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Mesquite for a 5A-1 Region II District 6 test on Friday, October 3. Turner will clash with a Wranglers squad coming off a 52-0 league win over White (Dallas, TX). The Wranglers record now stands at 4-1.

The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their game against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Wranglers enter the 5A-1 Region II District 6 game with a 4-1 record.
