The Braves opened their brand new $7.2 million stadium with a dominant 49-0 win over Timpview (Utah). The defense was lights out, allowing 113 total yards, and the offense showed a well-balanced attack. DJ Uiagalelei

The Monarchs extended their winning streak to 16 with a 42-14 win over Bishop Amat (La Puente, Calif.). Sean Dollars

The three big movers in this week's Xcellent 25 National High School Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard were St. Louis (Honolulu)
, Centennial (Corona, Calif.)
and De La Salle (Concord, Calif.)
• St. Louis cruised to a dominant 47-7 win over Narbonne (Harbor City, Calif.) and has outscored the opposition 116-13 through their first two games. The Crusaders moved up two spots this week to No. 10.
• Corona Centennial
jumped six spots to No. 11 after snapping Chandler's (Ariz.) 11-game winning streak with a 35-13 win. Gary Bryant Jr
. had a monster game, finishing the night with 264 yards and three touchdowns.
• De La Salle handed Folsom (Calif.)
its first shutout loss since 2004 with a 14-0 win. The Spartans moved up from 18 to 15 and still haven't dropped a game against a Northern California opponent since 1991. The win was huge for De La Salle as it puts them in the driver's seat to represent Northern California in the CIF Open Division state championship game in December.

• Colquitt County dealt McEachern (Powder Springs, Ga.) its worst loss since 2007 with a 41-7 win in the Corky Kell Classic. Daijun Edwards
finished the night with 162 yards rushing and one score.
• Warren Central beat a very good Center Grove (Greenwood, Ind.) team, 27-15. Romeir Elliott
led the way on offense with 135 yards rushing and three touchdowns.
• Rome won its 28th straight game
beating a very talented Marietta (Ga.) squad, 51-41, in the Corky Kell Classic. Knox Kadum
completed 13-of-19 passes for 218 yards and three scores. Jamoius Griffin
, a 2019 North Carolina State commit, balled for 162 yards on the ground to go with four total touchdowns.
• Duncanville still hasn't played this season, but the Panthers added two big-time players to an already talented team. Marquez Beason
