The Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) basketball nipped the host Chugiak Mustangs (Eagle River, AK), 38-31 in Saturday's league test.

The Wolves (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Service (Anchorage, AK). The Cougars go into the 4A Cook Inlet test with a 6-19 record. In their last test, Service was tipped by East (Anchorage, AK), 55-51, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 16-11 record. They play next when they host South for a 4A Cook Inlet test on Monday, February 26. Chugiak will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 69-61 league loss to West (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-14.
