Ninilchik Wolverines (Ninilchik, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK), 51-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ninilchik upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Lumen Christi (Anchorage, AK) to play the Archangels in a Peninsula bout on Saturday, February 5. The Archangels go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Lumen Christi won 65-33 in their recent league bout against Cook Inlet Academy (Soldotna, AK)

Next up, the Kardinals play the Barrow Whalers (Barrow, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 4. Kenai Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Whalers go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 60-36 non-league win over Soldotna (Soldotna, AK).
