In Friday's league outing, the Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL) basketball squad beat the visiting Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL), by a count of 65-52.

The Trojans (16-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Bryant (Irvington, AL). The Hurricanes come into the non-league challenge with a 11-12 record. In their last challenge, Bryant notched a victory over Theodore (Theodore, AL), 57-34, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Pirates play the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs (Mobile, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 28. Fairhope will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 43-33 league loss to St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL).
