Section Lions (Section, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL), 66-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Section upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Ider (Ider, AL) to encounter the Hornets in a 2A Area 14 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-6.

Next up, the Red Devils encounter the North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) in a 2A Area 14 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Fyffe will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
