Kasey Grant has been named player of the year. "Congratulations to Kasey Grant! Kasey Grant is an excellent athlete who averaged 26.2 points per game this year and has 2,274 points in her career. She averaged 14.1 rebounds and now has 1,558 total for her career. Both points and rebounds are school records. She averaged 4.1 steals and 3.1 assists. Kasey up into this year only played the 5 position but this year she played all 5 positions. She is a leader and a warrior on the court. She was the 1st Team All State last year and made The Dothan Eagle Super 12 Team last year. She was the MVP at the State Tournament last year. She was the MVP in the Corey Jones Tournament this year as well as the Shoemaker-Ward Tournament. She was MVP in the 1-A Region Tournament . Kasey is a true leader on and off the court. She is an extremely competitive individual. "
