Maria Jodon has been named player of the year. "Saint John Paul II has a very good season and made a playoff run to the Elite 8 in the AHSAA 4/5A Girls Soccer Division. The girls played tough all year and grew as a team throughout the season. The team was lead by a Senior Captain who not only lead on the pitch but off the pitch as well. This young lady was second on the team in goals with 15, lead the team in assists with 11 and was third on the team in steals with 71. She stepped up and dominated the midfield all year. For her amazing season and absolute leadership, Maria Jodon is the 2022 Saint John Paul II girls soccer Player of the Year."
