Bryson Dawkins has been named player of the year. "Congratulations to Bryson Dawkins for being chosen Carroll High School Basketball Player of the Year with a average of 22.2 points per game. He scored 731 points,275 rebounds,103 assists,104 steals and 34 blocks this past season. Bryson was selected all state for the 2021-2022 season by the Alabama Sports Writers Association (Class 5A First Team all-state).In addition he has also signed a scholarship to play basketball for the University of North Alabama for the 2022-2023 season."
