In Thursday's non-league contest, the Fairfield Tigers (Fairfield, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Ramsay Rams (Birmingham, AL), by a margin of 7-1.
With the triumph, Fairfield moves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 1. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 19-5.
In their next game, the Rams play the Bessemer City Tigers (Bessemer, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 26. Ramsay will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
