The Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) basketball felled the visiting Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR), 51-32 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Emmet (Emmet, AR). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Emmet went down by Bradley (Bradley, AR), 70-23, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nashville for a 4A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 13. Waldron will clash with a Scrappers squad coming off a 60-26 league loss to Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR). The Scrappers record now stands at 0-4.
