The Norfork Panthers (Norfork, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR), 46-44 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Joe (St. Joe, AR). The Wildcats go into the 1A Region 2 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, St. Joe was tipped by Bruno-Pyatt (Everton, AR), 56-51, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mammoth Spring for a non-league test on Friday, November 8. Cotter will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 71-47 non-league loss to Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Bears record now stands at 2-3.
