Dermott Rams (Dermott, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR), 45-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Dermott upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Rams host Woodlawn (Rison, AR) to play the Bears in a 2A Region 7 West bout on Thursday, February 7. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Woodlawn lost 53-37 in their recent league bout against Hampton (Hampton, AR)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Strong Bulldogs (Strong, AR) in a 2A Region 7 West bout, on Friday, February 8. Rison will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
