With the victory, Marion improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Hall (Little Rock, AR) to battle the Warriors in a 6A East battle on Tuesday, January 5. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 3 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Tuckerman was toppled by Hoxie (Hoxie, AR), 76-40, in a league battle.
