In Thursday's league outing, the Morrilton Devil Dogs (Morrilton, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR), by a margin of 77-55.

The Devil Dogs (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR). The Sand Lizards go into the 4A Region 4 outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Dardanelle smashed Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 66-44, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mena for a 4A Region 4 outing on Friday, January 5. Waldron will clash with a Bearcats squad coming off a 68-35 league loss to Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-11.
