StrengthsWeve got a fantastic mix of talent on the court this year! With three experienced veterans leading the way and passing down their knowledge, our seven other varsity players are locked in and ready to work. We are currently rebuilding our defensive unit and locking down the libero spot, but we have plenty of talented defensive players stepping up to compete for those positions. The energy is high and the depth is there
ReturningWeve got a fantastic core of returning starters leading the way this season! It all starts with Grace Jennings, a powerhouse 6-foot middle hitter entering her fourth year on varsity. Shes already crushing her goals, racking up 12 to 15 kills a game. Sharing the middle is Mollie Lineberger, who lets her game do the talkingshe locks down the net defensively and quietly chips in 8 to 9 kills a night. Rounding out the attack is our setter, Lily Burns, who brings a massive arm swing to the right side for a steady 10 kills per match. Lily is the absolute heartbeat of this team, keeping everyone's energy high and focused!
NewcomersOur greatest strength this season is our influx of talented new players. Leading the charge is our freshman setter, who pairs exceptional hands with high-level hitting and defensive skills. On the pins, new outside hitters Holly Keeter and Mia Miller are working tirelessly; Keeter is consistently terminating plays while Miller couples powerful attacks with a formidable serve. While we continue to evaluate options for a permanent libero, the teams overall ball control has taken a major leap forward, improving to a 2.1 serve-receive rating since the summer.
