Player of the Year
Race Taylor has been named player of the year. "Race Taylor proved to be one of the most versatile players in all of 3A this season. Few individuals displayed the ability to score, defend, and rebound like Taylor, especially for a perimeter player. Taylor led the team in scoring, assists, steals, deflections, and led the team's backcourt in rebounds. He earned all-conference and all-state honors and became the school's first two-time all-state tournament performer after averaging 20 points a game in the tournament this year. He averaged 15 points per state tournament game over the course of his career. He held former teammate Brandon Fenner, the state's all-time 3-point record holder, without a 3-point field goal in their first game this year, one of many performances where he showed proficiency in limiting opposing team's top scorers. Taylor ends his career as one of the most successful and decorated players in Paris history."
