Ja'Naiya Thomas has been named player of the year. "Ja'Naiya had a great year as she batted .597 for the year. She batted .651 in district play. Ja'Naiya had 25 stolen bases, 20 extra base hits including 7 home runs, Her 7 home runs gave her 22 homers for her career at Creek. She scored 47 runs this year and drove in 27 in the lead off role. As Ja'Naiya went, so did we. She was the catalyst for our offense. Ja'Naiya also played great on defense this year as she made several spectacular plays at short. Congratulations Ja'Naiya and "Eat 'em up Coogs"."
