In Friday's league outing, the Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bisbee Pumas (Bisbee, AZ), by a count of 63-39.

The Bobcats (16-7) will now prepare for their outing against Morenci (Morenci, AZ). The Wildcats go into the 2A East outing with a 2-20 record. In their last outing, Morenci was crushed by Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ), 56-26, in a league outing.

The Pumas now hold a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thatcher for a 2A East outing on Saturday, January 31. Bisbee will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 68-40 league win over Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 20-3.
