The Round Valley Elks basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Pinon Eagles to 54 in the Elks league victory on Saturday.

The Elks now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alchesay for a 2A North contest on Tuesday, January 9. Round Valley will battle a Falcons team coming off a 79-65 non-league win over Safford (Safford, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 19-1.

The Eagles (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ). The Lobos come into the 2A North contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Many Farms edged Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ), 60-53, in a league contest.
