    Luis Amador has been named player of the year. "Luis ended the season as the team leader in almost every hitting/offensive category including a .375 average, 20 runs scored, 27 hits, 20 RBI's, 9 doubles, 3 homeruns and a .425 on base percentage. Luis also stole 3/3 bases and hit the 3 and 4 spots all year long. Luis also pitched for Central posting a 5.12 ERA, second best on the team. Luis was also the recipient of the Most Valuable Player award for the Bobcats, selected team captain this year and also selected to the All-Section 2nd Team for Division I, Section I. In addition, Luis posted a 3.0 GPA, never gave issues with grades or behavior and was a good leader and role model for the younger players. Thanks to the hard work Luis has put in since last season ended, he was able to improve in every single offensive category from last year and finished a great senior year and earned the Player of the Year award for the 2012-2013 season.
