Corwin Hemmingson has been named player of the year. "We are pleased to announce Corwin Hemmingsen as the MaxPreps Player of the Year for the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles baseball team. Corwins performance at the plate and behind it deserves this award. More importantly, Corwins leadership at games, practices and team events were noticed by his peers and coaches. He routinely showed his ability to encourage the team yet as a leader still hold them accountable. Corwins attention to detail at practice to work on and improve the minor things in his approach and techniques at the plate and fielding the catcher position allowed him to improve throughout the season. Congratulations Corwin and thank you for a great season."
