Ricardo Juarez has been named player of the year. "Ricardo is an example of overcoming; during try-outs Ricardo had, the opportunity to try for varsity team but unfortunately, he did not make it. For some reason he was not selected for the JV team either, so he stayed in the JV-B team for the second year in a row this time as one of the captains. During the first matches, Ricardo showed all his quality giving assists goal, organizing midfield, and becoming present with goals. JV coach moved him to his team where he also continued doing an excellent job that he then was considered for the varsity team at the end of the season where he arrived to be a starter in the midfield. Ricardo only played three games with varsity being an important player who did not get nervous even though were the tough games."
