In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Thatcher Eagles soccer squad scored a close 10-4 triumph over the Miami Vandals.
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Hawks come into the 1A-3A Co-Ed South battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Tanque Verde was overwhelmed by Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
