Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Pride now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mesa for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. Mountain Pointe will face a Jackrabbits squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Apache Junction falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Prospectors host Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ) to face the Black Hawks in a II Section III challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Black Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 9-8. Williams Field lost 19-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ)
