The Tempe Prep Knights routed the visiting Ash Fork Spartans softball squad by a final score of 14-8 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons go into the 2A Metro East battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Veritas Prep was routed by Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ), 21-0, in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Coronado for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 24. Ash Fork will meet a Dons squad coming off a 25-1 non-league loss to Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ). The Dons record now stands at 1-11.
